Despite several elements (the setbacks off of the house, a septic field and property lines), that made the proposed design area tighter than what was originally anticipated, Harmony Design Group (HDG) met every aspect of the clients desire to create outdoor rooms, expanding the living space beyond the boundaries of the house.

We created three distinct spaces, a raised dining terrace and kitchen, an outdoor living room with a fireplace, and a pool area which includes a spa, a waterfall and a fire bowl. To allow for these spaces to be utilized throughout the year the dining and kitchen areas were placed adjacent to the house and the living room was enclosed by a Pergola which has a louvered roof to protect the space from the elements along with an outdoor fireplace to keep you warm in the cooler months. We blended both the natural elements of the landscape (wooded wetlands) with contemporary design elements throughout the exterior space to create a seamless transition between the natural landscape and the contemporary feel the homeowner desired.
